Bayou Single Barrel Batch 3 is a limited edition molasses rum produced by Lousiana Spirits Distillery in the USA.
The sugar cane used to produce molasses is grown in southern Louisiana. Molasses comes from the oldest family-run sugar mill in the United States.
After fermentation with yeast from the cane, the molasses is distilled in a traditional copper pot still.
As with Batch 2, this3rd batch comes from the 2016 vintage and is aged for 5 years at the distillery in Californian red wine barrels.
