Branca agricole blanc 50° is an agricultural rum from Madeira just like Branca agricole blanc 40° .
It is here reduced and bottled at 50°. This version gives a little more pep to the traditional Madeira Poncha, the recipe for which appears on the back of the bottle.
This pure cane juice rum is produced in a column still at the Engenhos Do Norte distillery.
Madeira is one of the few destinations able to qualify its pure cane juice rum as "rhum agricole", along with Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana and Réunion.
