This Caroni rum, casked in 1998, comes from the Trinidad & Tobago distillery closed in the early 2000s. It was bottled by Bristol Spirits Ltd in 2021.
This unique cask was first aged in the tropics before arriving in Europe. It was bottled with an age count of 23 years in Bristol's English cellars.
Contrary to John Barrett's usual practice, this cuvée has not been reduced. It is "brut de fût".
