In 2010, the legendary Port Mourant still was used to produce this rum. This distillation unit is currently at Diamond Distillers Ltd in Guyana.
Today, Port Mourant is one of the oldest wooden stills in operation. It has changed distilleries several times following successive closures.
This cuvée has not benefited from tropical ageing. It was imported to England in 2010 to age in Bristol Spirits Ltd's American oak casks.
It was bottled at 45°, with no prior filtration.
