Brugal – Colección Visionaria Edición 02 – is a rum that comes from the Dominican Republic .
Made from local molasses , it is column distilled and aged in a tropical climate.
The aging process took place in ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry oak barrels , before undergoing a finishing process with coffee beans (the barrels used were flavored with a roasting technique using local ingredients).
With 135 years of history, the Brugal family passes on its expertise from generation to generation. Jassil Villanueva , the fifth generation of Maestros Roneros, has brought a decidedly innovative approach to this exclusive collection, implementing aromatic barrel roasting .
