Compass White Rum Overproof is a blend of pure sugarcane juice rums from the Dominican Republic .
The first rum, in a lighter style, comes from a short fermentation of 24 to 48 hours , while the second, more full-bodied, results from a prolonged fermentation of 15 days .
It is bottled at 51.2° , which makes it more accessible than other rums in the same overproof category (often around 60° or more).
