This Compagnie des Indes Jamaica rum comes from a secret Jamaican distillery. This selection was made by French bottler Florent Beuchet through his Compagnie des Indes brand.
This is a pot still rum distilled from molasses in July 2013. This was followed by 9 years of ex-bourbon barrel ageing, 20% of which took place in the tropics, and the remaining 80% on the European continent.
This single barrel, numbered JML19, produced 379 numbered bottles. Bottling was carried out without cold filtration in March 2023.
