Companero Gran Reserva is a very old molasses rum combining rums from Jamaica and Trinidad. Meaning "companion" in Spanish, the Companero brand has been added to the catalog of renowned Danish bottler 1423 World Class Spirits.
Jamaican rum is distilled in copper pot stills, while Trinidad rum is column distilled. This is currently the oldest rum in the range, aged for up to 15 years in oak barrels in a tropical climate.
