Darboussier 6-year-old Guadeloupean rum is made from molasses. It has undergone extensive aging in oak barrels in the cellars of Liquoristerie Madras. This house is responsible for the revival of the Darboussier brand.
The name Darboussier is no stranger to the Guadeloupean landscape. It is the name of a sugar factory founded in 1869 on the site of an old house, then permanently closed in 1980. The Madras liquorist continues to promote this historic brand by offering rums aged in the heart of their cellars.
