Don Q Double aged Port cask finish is the result of the know-how acquired by the Serrallés family since 1865.
This cuvée is the result of a blend of Puerto Rican rums initially aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. This maturation extends over 5 to 8 years. It is only after this first step that the blend benefits from a 3-year period in European oak barrels which were previously used for aging a tawny port.
