Eminente Reserva 10 ans is a rum from Cuba, a blend of light rum and aguardiente. Like Eminente Reserva 7 ans, it is inspired by 19th-century aguardientes.
This first edition produced by César Marti, the youngest Cuban Maestro Ronero, has the particularity of being composed of 80% aguardiente and 20% light rums. Aguardientes are Cuban spirits produced from molasses. They are distilled at a TAV (Alcoholometric Volume by Volume) of 75° then aged in a dry cellar. Light rums are distilled at a TAV of 95°.
The blend benefited from 3 months of maturation in French oak barrels, before being bottled at 43.5°.
