This single malt Scotch whisky was created by Glenallachie master blender Billy Walker. This distillery, built in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson, is now one of the few independent entities in Scotland. Initially producing blends, since 2017 Billy Walker has shifted production to single malts.
Glenallachie 8 ans is a blend of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, as well as some virgin oak and red wine barrels.
Bottled at 46°, this Speyside single malt has not been cold filtered and its color is natural.
