This rum from the house of Hampden is an exclusive selection reserved for the French market.
Distilled from molasses in a pot still in 2019, it bears the marks “Light Rum Owen Kelly”. LROK means that the ester content was between 200 and 400 g/hlap at the time of distillation.
The rum was aged in a cask that had previously contained a Sherry from Bodega Lustau. Cask No. 100 produced 532 bottles after 5 years in the tropical climate.
All maturation took place in the heart of the Hampden estate cellar.
