Hampden Pagos is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by La Maison du Whisky and Velier. It is produced by the Hampden distillery, which specializes in the distillation of "High Ester" rums.
The molasses was fermented with wild yeasts before being distilled in a double retort copper pot still. The rum was then placed exclusively in 500-liter ex-sherry casks from vineyards in the Jerez region of Andalusia. It was reduced to its natural color with spring water and no added sugar.
