XR 21 Year Old is a blend from the John Walker & Sons collection.
This blend was created in honour of Sir Alexander Walker II and his title. The grandson of the legendary Johnnie Walker was made a Knight of the Order of the British Empire by King George V in 1920. Sir Alexander Walker II was the master blender at John Walker & Sons between 1889 and 1940.
This blended whisky is born from the blending notes left by Sir Alexander Walker II before his death. It is composed of whiskies aged for a minimum of 21 years and coming from the distillery's special reserves.
