This single malt scotch whisky from Kilchoman is produced on the Isle of Islay.
It was distilled and then fermented in July 2011, to be bottled 12 years later in July 2023.
Made from unpeated malt, this whisky is imbued with the phenolic fragrances of whiskies previously distilled in the still.
It is the result of an experimental approach. The first distillation was carried out using unpeated malted barley. In the second run, this same distillate was redistilled with the heads and tails from previous distillations using peated malted barley.
This whisky is not chill-filtered and has no additives.
