Kill Devil is the rum brand of the independent Scottish bottler Hunter Laing & Co., a family business founded by brothers Stewart and Andrew Laing, under the chairmanship of their father Fred Laing. Renowned for its award-winning whiskies, Hunter Laing applies the same rigorous selection process and artisanal, hand-bottling methods to its rums, all done by hand in Scotland.
This 15-year-old Trinidad rum comes from the Trinidad Distillers Limited (TDL) distillery in Trinidad and Tobago. Distilled in December 2006 from carefully selected molasses , this single cask rum matured for 15 years in a tropical climate before being transferred to Scotland to complete its maturation in the continental climate of Hunter Laing's warehouses. Bottled at cask strength , without chill filtration or additives, it delivers a mature and intense profile.
