Longueteau Prélude is a blend of rums aged 1 to 3 years : it is therefore an aged rum .
Prélude is part of the Harmonie collection from Longueteau.
The rums used are pure red cane juice rums at 50° and 55°, aged in new French oak barrels (Tronçais forest).
The 225-litre barrels were lightly toasted to bring out additional aromas.
It was bottled at cask strength.
