Mezan Guyana 2004 is a 19-year-old rum made from molasses.
It is a blend of rums distilled in 2004 by the Diamond distillery, using the famous Enmore and Versailles wooden stills.
The rum underwent 3 years of tropical aging before being transferred to Europe. It spent 16 years in American ex-bourbon oak barrels before bottling in 2023.
This is barrel n°002/003 which has not undergone cold filtration or the addition of additives. It gave birth to 300 numbered bottles.
