Indlovu is the3rd cuvée of Mhoba rum in the New Vibrations collection.
This pure South African cane juice rum comes from the 2018 distillation campaign. Initially, it was aged for 2 years in ex-bourbon casks.
Subsequently, the brandy was transferred to a Marula fruit brandy barrel for 18 months.
The name of this version, "Indlovu", means elephant in Siswati (the language spoken in Swaziland).
Does this name refer to the aromatic dimension or to the fact that Marula is nicknamed the elephant tree? We leave it to you to decide. Either way, both are engraved on the wooden case.
This cuvée has produced 189 numbered bottles.
