For several years now, the Neisson distillery has revised its range.
The Neisson XO and XO full proof have given way to the “Straight from the Barrel” collection. From this name comes a collection of rums bottled directly from the barrel. The Neisson range now consists of exclusive vintages since they are only single casks.
The rum was placed in a single 200-litre barrel on 28 June 2018. This barrel No. 261 comes from the American cooperage World Cooperage. It benefited from a “Char #3” type toasting.
Stored in the Mainmain cellar, the barrel was located in Rack No. 3, on level 1 of the 5th row.
The unloading on July 4, 2024 made it possible to obtain 257 bottles with the 180 liters remaining after aging.
