Père Labat 50° is an agricultural white rum produced in Grand-Bourg, on the island of Marie-Galante.
The rum comes from sugar cane mainly harvested by hand, transported to the distillery to extract fresh cane juice which ferments for 48 to 72 hours. It is distilled at 70° in columns made entirely of red copper. This low alcohol level of 70° preserves the aromas of this white rum then reduced to 50°.
