The Foundations collection is enriched with this rum vintage from the 2001 Planteray brand.
Produced from the distillation of molasses, it comes from the West Indies Rum Distillery. It has benefited from a 2/3 day fermentation, a column distillation and then a 20 year aging.
Initially aged in Barbados in bourbon casks for 11 years, it benefited from refining in cognac casks for nine years in France.
The volatile substance rate is 440 g/hlap for 229 g/hlap of esters.
