Planteray Rum partners with Adriatico, an Amaretto producer, for an exclusive collaboration. This vintage launches the collection called “Barrel Swap”.
The molasses rum here comes from the West Indies Rum Distillery located in Barbados. It was distilled in 2017. Aged initially for 3 years in the tropical climate in bourbon barrels, the rum benefited from a second maturation. The latter took part in cognac barrels within the Ferrand house. A 7-month refinement in barrels that contained Amaretto Adriatico completes the breeding.
Adriatico Amaretto is a liqueur famous for its 100% natural ingredients and high quality Apulian almonds.
This partnership highlights the creativity of both brands as well as the constant search for exceptional products.
