The “Single Cask 2024” collection from the Planteray Rum brand brings together selections from around the world.
This is a rum from the 2011 vintage from Trinidad & Tobago, distilled in a column at Trinidad Distillers Ltd. Made from molasses fermented for 3 days, it benefited from aging in 3 stages for a total of around 13 years in wood.
It all began in the tropical climate of the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks. After 11 years, the aging continued in Charente-Maritime at the Ferrand house. This stage took place in ex-cognac casks for an additional 15 months. Bottling was preceded by a final 9-month refinement in KOPKE port casks.
This exclusive rum does not contain any added sugars. The cask number as well as the bottle number are indicated on the label.
