This Port Cask 46° produced for Rammstein, the heavy metal band, is the result of a blend of rums from different origins.
All aged for up to 12 years, they come from Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad. They are distilled in iron and column stills.
After an initial ageing in ex-bourbon casks in the tropics, the blend continued its maturation in old port casks in Europe for several months.
