This rum from independent bottler Rest & Be Thankful comes from Jamaica's famous Long Pond distillery.
It bears the LSO mark, which gives an indication of its distillation in an iron still, and its ester level of around 120 g/hlap.
Distilled in 1998, this rum contains 564.6 g/hlap of volatile substances, including 122.7 g/hlap of esters.
This cuvée was aged for 24 years in American oak barrels. Part of the aging took place in a tropical climate, before continuing in Scotland.
Bottled on February 6, 2023, 165 copies were produced.
This is a brut de fût and single cask rum, with no additions and no cold filtration.
