Rhum Artesanal Madeira 2015 is a 7-year-old rum from the small island of Madeira. The Faria family has owned Engenhos do Norte, located in Porto Da Cruz, since 2013. But the story began in 1927, when rum production began at this great house.
This rum has been selected in the distillery's cellars and bottled for the German company Rum Artesanal.
This cuvée is made from pure sugarcane juice, which entitles this Madeira rum to be called "rhum agricole". It was distilled in a traditional column in 2015. It was then aged in an oak barrel for 7 years.
Bottling took place in 2022, without reduction, raw from barrel.
218 bottles of this single cask were produced.
