Rum Artensanal is an independent German bottler formerly known as Rum Albrecht. It made a name for itself with a fine Long Pond series. Today, this subsidiary of Heinz Eggert & Co, a major importer of wines and spirits, is interested in all terroirs, under the supervision of Dominik Marwede.

Rum Artesanal's parent company has some 60 years' experience in importing and even producing spirits, which gives it a unique advantage. It has direct links with the distilleries. This enables us to provide customized supplies, whether in bulk or in casks. These same casks can also be reused for in-house refining. This is the case, for example, with this Rum Artesanal Cubain matured in Venezuelan rum casks.

Rum Artesanal benefits not only from a source of white rums that it can age in its own way, but also from casks selected by the company itself. These specific rums include batavia arracks from Indonesia, as well as Jamaican high ester rums, which the company uses for its famous German rum-verschnitt.

Under the Heinz Eggert & Co umbrella, the Jamaican bottling and trading brand Burke's was also once present. Its recipe has been recreated to offer Burke's White and Burke's Seamaster blends.

But the core of the Rum Artesanal range is now made up of single casks from various origins, often cask-aged. The brand's direct sourcing and 50cl format ensure unbeatable value for money. Read less
