Every day, the barrels of the legendary Caroni distillery are becoming increasingly rare. This does not slow down the bottler Rom de Luxe who, with this vintage, offers a part of the history of this distillery.
This rum, whose distillation dates back to January 1998, has aged entirely in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. The tropical and then continental aging was completed during bottling in July 2023. The barrel produced 157 bottles and not one more.
This bottling has not benefited from any additions, not even water for its reduction. This is a cask strength edition.
