Sicilian Legacy is the first bottling from the young Rump@blic brand. It's made from 100% pot-still molasses rum from Barbados, which initially spent 3 years on site in ex-bourbon oak casks.
Once imported to the Florio winery in Marsala (eastern tip of Sicily), the rum is aged for 6 months in semi-dry Marsala Florio casks. The cellars, located 300 meters from the Mediterranean Sea, benefit from a special climate.
The Florio estate in Marsala and its winery were founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio.
