Savanna Unshared Cask #727 is a cuvée bottled exclusively for the French market in 2023. This rum was selected by the Savanna distillery in collaboration with the Facebook group "Les compagnons du rhum".
This is a single cask whose barrel is numbered 727. The latter has aged for 6 years in cell no. 4, which corresponds to the famous humid cellar of the Reunion distillery.
From March 2021, this ex-cognac cask contained a blend of two traditional molasses rums distilled in 2016. These 2 rums had previously been matured in small 230-liter ex-Porto casks from Tonnellerie Bossuet.
This vintage is bottled barrel strength at 62.1°. Only 720 numbered copies were taken from this unique cask.
