SBS Guyana 2012 Albion AN is a 10-year-old molasses rum produced at the Diamond distillery in English Guyana. The mark AN is a tribute to the Albion plantation and distillery, where the still used to produce this rum originated. This distillery, which closed in 1968, was located in the Berbice region.
The rum was distilled in 2012 in a Savalle 4-column still (continuous distillation), then aged in an oak barrel that had previously contained bourbon.
Bottling took place in May 2022 in Denmark, by 1423 World Class Spirits. A total of 231 bottles were obtained from this unique cask, bottled brut de fût and without cold filtration.
