With this vintage, Spirit Gallery presents the first opus of the Funky Fury series. The objective of this collection is to offer a variety of high-ester white rums selected from all four corners of the world.
For this first opus, we head to the island of Martinique with a white molasses rum. It comes from the Galion distillery and is made from French molasses produced directly by the Galion sugar refinery. As a result, it can benefit from the Baie du Galion GI.
The ester level of this rum is 563 g/hlpa. If we were to compare it to a Jamaican rum from the Hampden distillery, the marks would be HLCF.
