Benjamin Guthmann, the man behind Spirit Gallery, goes the extra mile with his selections. For summer 2025, he's back with three selections, including this molasses rum from British Guiana from the DDL (Demerara Distillers Ltd) distillery.
Distilled in the famous Port Mourant wooden pot still, this rum is from the 2012 vintage. Aged for 13 years in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, this single cask was bottled without reduction.
The barrel selected for the occasion produced 342 bottles.
