Swell de Spirits has teamed up with German bottler Grap of the Art (GotA) to present this 6th edition of the Swell & Co Series range.
This is a Ténarèze Armagnac from the cellar of Château Hontambère. The latter is located in Castelnau-d'Auzan in the Gers department.
This Armagnac is made from a single grape variety, Ugni Blanc. Distilled in 1989 by Pierre Laporte at the now-closed Domaine de Pouchégu, then aged in a single barrel in a damp cellar, this eau-de-vie was bottled in July 2023.
The cask shared between Swell de Spirits and GotA produced just 252 50cl bottles for the former and 250 70cl bottles for the latter.
