This is a Pure Single Rum from the Mount Gay distillery in Barbados, founded in 1703. This means that the rum is produced by discontinuous distillation in an iron still.
It's also possible to speak of a method unique to this house, as the rum has been distilled 3 times.
This cuvée is a blend of 13 casks from the 2007 vintage, which have undergone a 70% angels' share. Aging took place in bourbon casks in the tropics for 16 years.
