Vieux Sajous 5 ans is a clairin vieux made from a blend of 18 casks from the 2018 vintage. These have previously contained Bielle rums, Caroni and single malt whisky.
This Clairin cuvée is produced by Michel Sajous at his Chelo distillery in Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye. Michel Sajous grows a single variety of sugar cane, the "Cristalline", without fertilizers, pesticides or other chemicals.
Bottled without reduction in 2023, after 5 years of ageing.
