Emperor

Emperor is a Mauritian brand created very recently by Christophe Aulner and Bruno Le Merle, and based on the original principle of blending pure cane juice rums with molasses rums.

Both traditions can be found in Mauritius, which was dominated by the French (tradition of pure cane juice agricultural rums), then by the English (tradition of molasses rums) before gaining independence in 1968. Read less
