Miyagikyo is a Japanese distillery located in the north of the main island of the Japanese archipelago.

It was founded by Nikka, one of Japan's two major whisky groups. Its founder, Masataka Taketsuru, had created Yoichi in 1934. In fact, he wanted a new distillery to vary his production. The aim is to make his blends more complex.

Sendai Distillery was renamed Miyagikyo in 2001.

Today, she is involved in the production of both Nikka blends and single malts.
