Monymusk

The Monymusk distillery, also known as Clarendon, is located in southern Jamaica.

Monymusk produces heavy rums: thanks to long fermentation (up to a month) and pot still distillation, the ester content (aromatic molecules) of the rums ranges from 600 to 1500.

The distillery also produces light rums, around 200 esters: 24-hour fermentation and column distillation.

It wasn't until 2012 that the distillery launched its own brand, simply named "Monymusk". Read less
