Rasta Morris is an independent Belgian bottler run by Bert Bruyneel. This whisky enthusiast began diving into the world of whisky in the 1990s. He created a tasting club called "The Wee Dram Whisky Society", then a blog, before joining the very small community of Maltmaniacs... Read more

Rasta Morris is an independent Belgian bottler run by Bert Bruyneel. This whisky enthusiast began diving into the world of whisky in the 1990s. He set up a tasting club called "The Wee Dram Whisky Society", then a blog, before joining the very small community of Maltmaniacs. This was followed by barrel selections, more articles, and hosting tasting evenings.
Then, in 2011, he came across a cask of Benriach 1975 and decided to try his hand at bottling. Asta Morris was born, and thanks to him, some great whiskies have seen the light of day ever since.

In 2018, Bert strolls the aisles of the Spa rum fair. There he met friends and tasted some good rums. However, he finds a certain irregularity, with rums sometimes spoiled by various additions. He felt there was room for more natural, unadulterated rums. Rasta Morris was born a few months later, with two bottlings from Caroni and Foursquare.
Since then, the motto has remained the same: no sugar, no dilution, no coloring and no cold filtration. Read less
