The nose is fairly light, with an agricultural rum balanced by a mellow veil. You can make out the fat, white macadamia nut, enveloped in vanilla sweetness. The rum is not obliterated by this roundness; it's just more comfortable, more gourmand.
The palate is equally balanced, as the tenderness of the walnut melted into the vanilla coats the attack. The fullness and warmth of the rum follow, without the need for freshness. It remains comfortable and mellow.
