This arrangé Goyave rose is made with agricultural rum from the Damoiseau distillery in Guadeloupe. The entire range of Damoiseau fruit liqueurs uses freshly cut fruit, bottled immediately with cane sugar and a vanilla pod.
The pink guava is a vitamin-rich tropical fruit in the Myrtaceae family. It is traditionally grown in the West Indies. Careful ripening over several months extracts all its flavors.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is very fruity and sunny, with guava tinged with floral scents such as rose and geranium. A hint of sweetness adds to the coziness, allowing us to indulge in this exotic reverie.
On the palate, the rhum arrangé coats the taste buds like a liqueur, invading the palate with its fruity and floral flavors. Guava is there, of course, but there are also hints of lychee and rose, as well as a hint of sweet spice in the long finish.
"A very smooth arranged rum with fruity, floral and sunny notes..."
