This Demon's Share, a humorous allusion to the angels' share that every spirit lover knows well, is a spiced rum with notes of orange, vanilla and sweet spices.
Fermented with endemic yeasts and distilled in column stills, the rum is aged for 6 years in American oak barrels.
It is produced by Bodegas de America, a Panamanian distillery.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is very gourmand, opening with a generous whiff of candied orange peel. The rum is reminiscent of confectionery, with a sweet profile and hints of caramel, vanilla and bubblegum.
Aeration then invites us to explore nuances of baked sugar. Like children at a funfair, we see barbapapas, pommes d'amour, chouchous and marshmallows go by...
On the palate, the orange flavors mingle immediately with those of caramel, in a "dessert rum" that coats the taste buds with extreme indulgence. It's like being at a funfair, surrounded by confectionery and warm, melting sugar.
The finish is softly fruity, like a marshmallow.
"A very round and gourmand rum, a veritable liquid confectionery..."

Great taste and great rum experience.

Very good value for money, a rum reminiscent of Don Papa.

Super good, quite vanilla-y, perfect, just the way I like it.
