Elements 8 Platinum is actually a blend of 10 different aged rums of at least 4 years of age.
These rums were distilled in copper pot stills and column stills, then aged in bourbon barrels. At the end of this 4-year process, the rum was charcoal-filtered to remove all the color acquired during this long stay. To achieve a reduction to 40°, filtered rainforest water was added before bottling.
Tasting notes
Elements 8 Platinum is crystal-clear.
The nose is fruity, with notes of apple, citrus and pineapple.
On the palate, fruit aromas also take over (grapes and banana this time), accompanied by tangy notes.
The finish is sweet and fruity, with hints of coconut.
