Elements 8 Platinum is actually a blend of 10 different aged rums of at least 4 years of age.
The distillation of these rums was carried out in copper pot stills and column stills, then bourbon barrels were used for aging. At the end of this 4 year process, the rum was carbon filtered to remove all the color acquired during this long stay. To achieve a reduction to 40°, filtered rainforest rainwater was added before bottling.
Tasting notes
Elements 8 Platinum is crystal-clear.
The nose is fruity, with notes of apple, citrus and pineapple.
On the palate, fruit aromas also take over (grapes and banana this time), accompanied by tangy notes.
The finish is sweet and fruity, with hints of coconut.
