Esprit d'épices - preparation for arranged rum - Pineapple : Description and customer reviews

This preparation, made inMauritius, allows you to make your own rhum arrangé. It is made from pineapple slices, citrus leaves, vanilla pods and sugar cane.

You'll need white rum (from Mauritius or Reunion, or an agricole from Martinique or Guadeloupe), sugar or cane syrup, and patience, as the rum needs to macerate for at least a month.

This preparation makes between 1 and 2 liters of rhum arrangé, and should be stored in a dry place.
During maceration, the mixture should not be exposed to light.
