This 19-year-old Bielle rum bottled by the Ricci Family is simply the oldest rum from this distillery bottled to date. It was selected during a visit to the island of Marie Galante in February 2022.
The rum aged for 19 long years in bourbon barrels in the distillery's cellar. The angels' share is not inconsiderable, as much of its content has evaporated over the years. Only 50 liters were transferred to a Dame Jeanne for 2 years, to allow the distillate to rest.
This is an exceptional rum from the Ricci family. It is bottled in 70 numbered 70cl bottles. No additives have been added to this cuvée, which has been bottled at its natural degree of 45.5°.
