Famille Ricci OVNI n° 8 is a cuvée made from the blend of 2 molasses rums.
One comes from Worthy Park in Jamaica, while the other is from Panama. The first, 65% of the blend, is 18 years old. The second, 19 years old, accounts for 35% of the blend.

This cuvée was bottled without any additives.
Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose: a fresh and expressive initial aroma, marked by notes of apple and pear, quickly complemented by delicate hints of white flowers. Nuances of green almond and a vegetal character reminiscent of fresh sugarcane bring freshness and complexity to the whole.
On the palate: the attack is supple and elegant. The herbaceous notes of sugarcane are immediately apparent, accompanied by sweet spices and a subtle oakiness that preserves the freshness of the sugarcane juice. The mid-palate evolves towards fruity flavors, before revealing a more indulgent register with pastry accents, where vanilla, honey, chocolate, and marmalade mingle.
The finish: long and harmonious, it prolongs the vegetal notes of the cane, enhanced by a touch of marmalade and a delicately roasted woodiness, leaving an impression that is both fresh and indulgent.
